Fase pascaembrionik yaitu fase pertumbuhan dan perkembangan makhluk hidup setelah masa embrio, terutama penyempurnaan alat-alat reproduksi setelah dilahirkan. Pada fase ini pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang terjadi biasanya hanya peningkatan ukuran bagian-bagian tubuh dari makhluk hidup. Kecepatan pertumbuhan dari masing-masing makhluk hidup berbeda-beda satu dengan yang lain. Setelah lahir disebut dengan nama bayi dan memasuki masa neonatal.
Perkembangan pada manusia terjadi secara bertahap. Masing-masing tahapan mempunyai ciri dan karakteristik tersendiri yang merupakan ciri khas yang dapat dijadikan pertanda.

a)   Balita ( Bawah Lima Tahun, 0 – 5 tahun )
   
Masa ini dimulai dari bayi setelah lahir sampai pada masa remaja. Pertumbuhan dan perkembangan bayi sangat tergantung dari pemeliharaan ibu yang setiap saat harus menyusui bayinya dengan ASI sampai + 1 tahun. Sangat disayangkan bila ibu tidak menyusui sendiri dengan ASI, bahkan ada yang disengaja tidak mau menyusui anaknya, tapi diganti dengan susu formula, ini bisa dilakukan bila terpaksa ibu tidak mengeluarkan air susu. ASI yang diberikan ibu lebih bermanfaat dari susu formula. Mengapa? Sebab ASI mengandung antibodi dari ibu, sehingga sang bayi akan mendapatkan kekebalan langsung dari ibu. ASI juga akan menyebabkan jalinan kasih sayang secara tidak langsung dari ibu terhadap bayinya. Setelah berumur + 6 bulan mulailah gigi pertama tumbuh yang disebut gigi susu, yang nantinya setelah anak berumur + 6 tahun mulai tanggal satu persatu, dan diganti dengan gigi tetap. Anak setelah berumur + 10 tahun sudah mulai mengerti tugas yang diberikan. Masa balita merupakan awal pertumbuhan dan perkembangan manusia setelah dilahirkan. Pada masa ini rentan terhadap berbagai penyakit dan gangguan kesehatan lainnya. Untuk itu pada usia balita diberikan bermacam-macam imunisasi. Tujuannya untuk menambah daya tahan kekebalan tubuh. Ciri – ciri masa balita sebagai berikut:
1)      Perkembangan fisik sangat pesat.
2)      Perkembangan motorik, seperti tengkurap, merangkak, merambat, berjalan, kemudian berlari.
3)      Perkembangan komunikasi, seperti tertawa, berteriak, mengucap satu kata, kemudian berbicara.
4)      Perkembangan kemundian, seperti bertepuk tangan, meminta, minum dari gelas dan memakai baju sendiri.
5)   alat alat pernapasan , pencernaan , dan pengeluaran di lakukan sendiri


    b)     Anak-anak ( Usia 6 – 10 )   

Ciri-ciri masa anak-anak sebagai berikut:
1) Mulai berpikir untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan sekitar.
2) Rasa ingin tahu sangat besar
3) Keinginan untuk memiliki sesuatu sangat besar
4) Mengenal baik dan buruk
5) Emosi masih berubah – ubah
6) Hormon sex sudah di produksi
7) Pertumbuhannya terlihat cepat dengan perubahan yang jelas

c) Remaja ( usia 11 – 18 )
   
    Pada masa pubertas terjadi perubahan fisik dan psikologi yang sangat pesat. Pubertas adalah masa pertumbuhan yang cepat dan dimulailah kematangan seksual. Masa pubertas pada anak perempuan biasanya dimulai pada usia 11 tahun, sedangkan anak laki- laki 13 tahun. Perubahan fisik dipengaruhi oleh hormon-hormon reproduksi. Perubahan ini meliputi ciri-ciri kelamin primer dan sekunder.masa ketika anak perempuan dan laki-laki matang secara seksual

Ciri – ciri kelamin primer :

(a)  Laki – laki
    Masa pubertas seorang laki-laki dimulai ketika organ-organ reproduksi laki-laki telah berfungsi. Masa pubertas ini ditandai dengan peristiwa mimpi basah, yaitu keluarnya sperma dari tubuh. Sperma dihasilkan oleh testis / buah zakar. Proses pembentukan sperma atau sel kelamin disebut spermatogenesis.

(b)  Perempuan
    Masa pubertas seorang perempuan dimulai ketika organ – organ reproduksi perempuan telah berfungsi. Pada saat ini perempuan telah mengalami oogenesis. Oogenesis adalah proses pembentukan ovum (sel telur ) atau sel kelamin perempuan. Oogenesis terjadi di dalam ovarium (indung telur). Masa puber ini ditandai dengan haid (menstruasi), yaitu keluarnya darah dari lubang vagina akibat peluruhan ovum bersama lapisan dinding rahim. Peristiwa pelepasan ovum dari ovarium disebut ovulasi. Menstruasi terjadi sebagai akibat sel telur tidak dibuahi oleh sperma. Lama siklus menstruasi perempuan berbeda-berbeda. Lama masa menstruasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor makanan, gangguan emosional, stress, atau kondisi kesehatan. Rata-rata siklus menstruasi perempuan 28 hari.

Ciri-ciri kelamin sekunder
   
Ciri-ciri kelamin sekunder pada perempuan dipengaruhi oleh hormon estrogen dan progesteron,  sedangkan pada laki-laki dipengaruhi oleh hormon testoteron.
(a) Laki-laki
    ( 1 ) Dada menjadi lebar dan bidang
    ( 2 ) Suara besar dan berat
    ( 3 ) Tumbuh rambut pada ketiak dan sekitar kemaluan
    ( 4 ) Jakun membesar

(b) Perempuan
    ( 1 ) Payudara dan pinggul membesar
    ( 2 ) Kulit menjadi halus
    ( 3 ) Suara kecil dan lembut
    ( 4 ) Tumbuh rambut pada ketiak dan sekitar kemaluan
   




Perubahan psikis pada anak laki-laki dan perempuan relatif sama. Pola pikir mengalami perubahan, yaitu mulai berpikir abstrak, lebih logis dan kritis. Perkembangan emosi belum stabil dan peka terhadap rangsangan afektif (melibatkan emosi/perasaan). Pada awal masa pubertas, remaja merasa lebih dekat dengan teman-teman sebayanya daripada orang tuanya, mulai mendambakan kebebasan, rasa ingin tahunya meningkat dan mulai mengidolakan seorang tokoh yang dikagumi. Ciri-ciri pubertas secara psikis juga ditandai dengan usaha mencari identitas diri dan mulai tertarik kepada lawan jenis.



d)     Dewasa (18-40 tahun)

Masa dewasa dimulai pada usia 18 tahun. Secara biologis, masa dewasa ditandai dengan kesiapan bereproduksi dan secara psikologis memiliki kesiapan dan kematangan mental.
Pertumbuhan fisik secara memanjang (bertambah tinggi) masih berlangsung hingga mencapai usia 22 tahun. Biasanya tinggi dan berat badan konstan dan mulai bertambah berat setelah mencapai usia 22 tahun. Kematangan mental pria dicapai setelah usia 25 tahun, sedangkan pada wanita kematangan mental lebih cepat.


e)   Manula (Manusia Usia Lanjut, 40 tahun ke atas)
   
Ciri-ciri manula sebagai berikut:
1)   Penurunan fungsi organ-organ tubuh, misalnya berkurangnya pendengaran.
2)   Gerakan menjadi lambat karena persendian kaku dan tulang keropos
      (osteoporosis)
3)   Tubuh cepat letih dan daya tahan tubuh terhadap penyakit menurun.
4)  Pada wanita mengalami menopause, yaitu berhentinya haid karena organ reproduksi tidak mampu menghasilkan ovum yang matang.

Ahead of the upcoming release of Girls’ Generation‘s next Japanese single “Flower Power“, an audio preview for the song recently aired on Japanese TV.
As previously reported, the new single will be available in three editions: First Press Limited Edition (/w DVD), Deluxe First Press Limited Edition (/w DVD), and the Regular Edition.
However, due to production issues, the release date has been postponed from November 14th to the 21st. Although the additional week of wait may be hard to bear, the new audio preview should help quench a bit of fans’ curiosity about the upcoming track.

Pre-Debut

SM Entertainment pada 27 Januari 2011 mengumumkan akan membuat debut dua grup pria baru pada bulan Maret atau April pada tahun tersebut. Mereka diketahui dengan kode nama “M1″, netizen menyebut mereka sebagai ‘소년천지‘ (berarti“Boy’s Heaven” atau “Land of Boys”). SM juga menyebutkan akan melibatkan mereka dalam OST. Paradise Ranch, yang kemudian tidak jadi dilakukan. Pada tanggal 22 Maret, tersebar foto “M1″ sedang melakukan latihan di ruang latihan SM dengan 7 member. Terdapat rumor bahwa Jino -SM The Ballad- akan menjadi anggota dari “M1″

15 Oktober, saat melakukan wawancara bersama Chosan Biz, Lee Soo Man mengatakan grup yang akan datang akan dibuat menjadi dua sub grup dengan konsep yang sama, dan akan berpromosi secara terpisah di Korea dan Cina. Dua grup tersebut dikenal “M1″ dan “M2″. Lee berbicara mengenai acara yang diadakan SM pada Agustus di Denmark dan Norwegia bernama “Music Camp” untuk mencari judul lagu yang tepat bagi dua sub grup tersebut. 50 komposer dari seluruh belahan dunia datang untuk mengkomposisi lagu untuk SM Entertainment dalam jangka waktu 3 sampai 6 hari. Mereka diperlihatkan M1 dan M2, konsep dan ritme yang diinginkan SM dan para komposer dibebaskan membuat lagu mereka sendiri. Acara tersebut diadakan dua kali, namun SM masih belum menemukan lagu yang tepat.

Pada 22 Desember, SM menaruh pop-up timer pada website resmi mereka menampilkan logo untuk grup tersebut. Timer menghitung mundur dari 24 jam dan mengatakan “FROM. EXO PLANET”. Pada 23 Desember di Korea Selatan, sebuah teaser dengan member Kai dan lagu dari EXO “My Lady” diluncurkan. Versi “one take” dari teaser tersebut akan dirilis kemudian pada 30 Desember. Empat hari sepanjang liburan, truk-truk dengan layar LED memainkan teaser pertama berkeliling sepanjang  Kangnam, Myungdong, Shinchon, Hongdae, dan Seoul.  27 Desember, teaser kedua dirilis dengan lagu “Time Control” menampilkan member Lu Han dan Kai. Hari berikutnya, teaser ketiga menampilkan Tao dengan lagu “Metal” menampilkan skill dibidang wushu. 3 Januari 2012,teaser kelima dirilis menampilkan Kai menari “Machine” dan 6 Januari teaser keenam dengan Kai menari “Lightsaber” dirilis. Pada 10 Januari, teaser ketuju menampilkan Se Hun dan Kai dirilis bersama dengan lagu “Run & Gun“. 11 Januari teaser kedelapan dirilis menampilkan Se Hun “Black Pearl” yang juga menampilkan 11 member lainnya. Teaser kesembilan dengan lagu “Your World” bersama member Lu Han dan Se Hun dirilis 12 Januari dan teaser kesepuluh dirilis pada 17 Januari Lay dengan lagu  “Phoenix“. Teaser kesebelas dirilis 25 Januari dengan member Xiu Min dan Kai dengan lagu “Let Out the Beast“. Pada 28 Januari teaser keduabelas dengan member Kai dan Lay dirilis, dengan lagu “Two Moons“, dimana featuring dengan SHINee Key. Pada 7 februari,teaser ketigabelas dirilis dengan member Sehun menari dengan lagu prolog “What is Love“. 10 Februari teaser keempatbelas dengan member Kai menarikan lagu mereka “What is Love” dimana merupakan lanjutan dari teaser ketigabelas. Pada 13 Ferbuari,teaser kelimabelas dengan member Tao sekali lagi menunjukan kemapuan martial arts, dengan lagu “Metal” sebagai backsound. 14 Februari, teaser keenambelas dirilis dengan member D.O dan Su Ho dengan alunan piano lagu “Reflection I” dari Song Kwang Sik. Pada 15 Februari teaser ketujuhbelas dirilis dengan member Kris dekali lagi dengan lagu “Your world”. Pada 16 Februari, teaser kedelapanbelas dirilis dengan member Kai lagi, menari lagu mereka “Emergency”.

Para member Tao, Kai, Lu Han dan Chen tampil diacara 2011 SBS Gayo Daejun pada tanggal 29 Desember. Pada 19 Januari Se Hun, Lu Han, dan Kai mengambil bagian pada photo shoot bersama W Korea bernama “W Live” dengan rekan satu perusahaan f(x), SHINee dan Girls’ Generation.

2012: Prologue Single: What Is Love

EXO-K dan EXO-M merilis lagu prolog mereka “What Is Love” pada 30 Januari. Single tersebut bukan merupakan single debut resmi mereka, tapi lebih kepada pengenalan kepada grup secara keseluruhan. Kedua versi Korea dan Cina dari lagu tersebut dirilis secara digital pada iTunes, Melon, Doshirak, Soribada, dan Naver Music. Lagu ini juga dirilis melalui website musik Cina seperti Baidu. Video musik tersebut, masih merupakan rangkaian teaser dari SM Entertainment, secara resmi mengenalkan member EXO-K D.O dan Baek Hyun serta member EXO-M Lu Han dan Chen kepada publik; member lainnya secara tidak langsung diperkenalkan, meskipun belum teridentifikasi, dibagian lain dari video, menggunakan rangkaian dari yang diduga akan menjadi teaser selanjutnya.
